This gripping novel relates to the formation and training of the Aux units and also charts the
revenge, sabotage and murder they would have delivered to the Nazis in occupied Britain.
Set in the small town of Duns in Scotland, much of the information relates to the town and wider
area, with references to real locations used by the Duns Patrol.
This unique DVD gives you a detailed insight into the weapons and explosives
used by Winston Churchill’s Auxiliary Units as well as SOE and others.
The film is presented in an informal way by Richard Ashley and
Bob Millard and was filmed in the
grounds of the former HQ of the Auxiliary Unit, Coleshill House.
Abergavenny Museum have produced a 16 page booklet to accompany their
exhibition on 'The British Resistance In Wales'.
Reading the booklet is a good way to learn the basics about the Auxiliary units and
understand more about the Welsh resistance.
A PDF (electronic version) of the booklet can now be purchased. £1 of this goes
directly back to the museum.
