Good Morning All,

I have spent some days sorting out the OB page http://www.coleshillhouse.com/bunkers.php and have added hundreds of links to Auxiliary related locations around the UK to the page categorised under county.

This information has come from a variety of sources but the most interesting is from the Defence of Britain Project.

They publish a Google Earth file that shows a huge amount of WW2 data from airfields to a full list of all Aux related sites. Many of these I have never heard of and I know that is the same for some of our other members.

I have produced a video tutorial and guide on how to view these sites here http://www.coleshillhouse.com/auxiliary-unit-locations-on-google-earth.php

Enjoy.

Not sure if your a Radio 4 listener but one of our Members notified me that on “Questions, Questions” today they were going to talk all about the Aux Units.

And sure enough they did. John Warwicker was interviewed and shared his normal conspiracy theories and a family member of a welsh Auxilier was interviewed at an OB.

You can listen to the full interview here http://www.coleshillhouse.com/welsh-auxiliary-units-and-obs.php

Just to let you all know the BBC “Inside Out” feature CART shot has been moved back again to Monday 1st February.

It was meant to be airing on Monday (11th) and then today but the BBC have now told me it has been moved to the evening of February 1st instead.

It will be a 10 minute piece about Coleshill House, this project and the Auxiliary Units work.

The good news is that BBC South are also going to show it on the same night so it will be shown over the whole of the South of England. Result……

I will keep you posted on any further changes.

Today we have added about 250 new links on our Operational Bases page.

Whilst this information has have been in the public domain for sometime the web links to them have not been easy to find.

We now cover most of the UK. If you fancy trying to find an OB from the list that is near you please feel free and take some pictures for our site. Remember though most sites are on private land.

If we have missed anything or got it wrong please let us know.
