It is with great regret that I have to inform you of the passing of Ann Warwicker. Ann was the wife of John Warwicker MBE. For those of you who don't know, John has written two books on the Auxiliary Units and was key to setting up The British Resistance Organisation. John is still seen by many as the authority on the subject. His wife Ann took many of the pictures for his books and helped and supported him over the years. Did you know Coleshill House was featured in a film?In 1947 Coleshill House was the backdrop for the opening sequence to the film Uncle Silas. We have managed to find a copy and have added the famous scenes in our Media Library. As far as we know it is the only recorded footage of the house. See it here. Continue reading ...
