Gartly is a hilly farming area with a main railway line passing through it, the only other notable feature are
several main roads.

The OB was located on Hill of Collithie. Access to the OB was through a stone wall. It has long since been

kit. Willie said the weapons were stored at the roadside under farmyard junk.
