Farnell is a village in Angus. It lies 2 miles south of the River South Esk, between Brechin and Montrose.

Operational Base (OB)

The Operational Base was located in woodland on the Kinnaird Estate. The entrance was through a trap door with steps down into the main chamber.

Most obvious targets were main railway lines around Brechin and Montrose, also airfields at Stracathro and Montrose (airfield and seaplane base) were likely targets.

Training

Training most likely took place at Melville House, Fife.
